Jake Gillett
Jake started indoor karting at Seven and a half years of age at Streatham Raceway in 2010. Jake joined their academy two months later, he was one of the youngest to be allowed to do this.
Jake was spotted by Luke Caudle at the Raceway in the docklands – He suggested that Jake move to out door karting.
Jake then started competing outdoors at Sandown Park in November 2010. In his second competitive race there in January 2011 he earnt his first podium, with a 3rd place. In his 3rd and last competitive race back in March of this year at Sandown he gained another podium, with a 2nd place.
After passing his ARKS exam, Jake started MSA karting in March 2011 at Bayford Meadows.
In June 2011, Jake won the Honda Clubman top novice at Buckmore Park.
Having seen how quickly Jake can drive in the wet, with the right encouragement, we feel that Jake could soon be a front runner in any race. We intend to work closely with Jake and help him
achieve more podiums.
